Transition Career Abroad Responsibly
Beyond3Generations has worked with 20 talented individuals to support their transition into green and greening careers and education. The program was tailored to meet each individual's unique needs, to understand how underutilisation of immigrant labor occurs and whether black talent's resilience is enough in the green movement. The lessons learned from the program were used to create "Waiata with Victoria," a safety motivation podcast on YouTube, and "Responsible Education," a LinkedIn newsletter that encourages immigrants to pursue green careers with informed consent. The 20 talents successfully progressed to green and greening opportunities, highlighting the need for intentional systems that enable and reward diverse talent development.
Waiata with Victoria
Our Youtube podcast, Waiata with Victoria Agyepong, shares the journeys of immigrant talents who have successfully transitioned into green and greening careers to inspire the next generation of transformative green leaders in Australasia, North America, Asia, Africa and Europe. We reached over 98 countries. We shared opportunities for youth and immigrants to participate in green and digital futures with informed consent and provided safety motivation. The podcasts along with social media posts have inspired so many talents to do amazing things that we have lost count.
Below, we have shared videos and articles from this initiative.
